“an Aleph is one of the points in space that contains all points. The place where all the places of the world, seen from every angle, coexist”
Inspired by Borges' radical description of the imaginal realm, I created a series of photographic glass plates, each containing a small universe of inter-connected images. Each plate is an intricate, alchemical mass of celluloid imagery, and no single plate can ever be viewed in it's entirety.
The Aleph is a device that allows each universe to be explored and known only in the memory and imagination of the viewer.
